Client Requirements

This is OutHounds’ second build at Hi-Tide. The aim of this project was to create an another alfresco space in an underused courtyard area. The in-house design team came up with this amazing bespoke glue laminated frame with a steel cross supports, to sit three Ashelta retractable roofs inside. The courtyard had to be flexible and weather proof, as it will hold events such as weddings.

Bespoke guttering was incorporated into the frame which works with the existing buildings drainage. Doors were added for side protection and access to an outdoor area. Steel supports used for fixings of lighting and heaters and also for strength.
